bestsweater: (SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND)

01 [ACTION]

[There is a giant, living boulder...thing on campus. It's snake-like in appearance and is just kind of milling about, sticking its giant rock nose into bushes, peering into second-story windows, leaving the campus lawn all torn up in its wake. Hey man, you can't be a massive stone-serpent and not leave a some kind of trail. It's around various places all day, and very clearly seems to be giving the place a once-over.

One might easily ignore the young man that accompanies this gargantuan creature (or is it the other way around?) if not for the fact that he is wearing an obnoxious shade of bright orange. Still, it might take you a few moments to notice him, given the sheer size of his rock-like companion. He carries a backpack, and a map which he refers to every so often.

What is most interesting about this duo, perhaps, is the fact that they seem to be actively conversing, albeit in different languages. Occasionally this mysterious arrival hitches a ride on his stony friend along their self-guided tour. It's obvious that they're evaluating the school with a sort of non-verbal running commentary, perhaps looking for a familiar face or two.

Just remember to bring a coat, foreigners and foreign trainers are really surprised on how cool it is during the year. I don't see the difference, personally. lol

Yep! [Here he goes grabbin' his case and showing off his VERY shiny badges] I've received the Coal Badge and the Forest Badge.

I've heard it's cold, yeah. Never been there, myself.

And these guys are your team? [Referring, of course, to Turtwig and Monferno.]

It's a really fun place to be if you ever do have the chance. Especially when I went to battle Roark in Oreburgh. His whole town's dedicated to mining.

[Nodding, he reaches down and picks Turtwig up] Yep! This is my whole team. [He looks up towards Onix, then back to Brock] Is this your whole team too?

I've got five Pokemon with me. Onix, of course. Then Graveler, Rhyhorn, Kabutops and Omastar.

[Isn't it nice to have a nice friendly conversation with a shotatrainer than with someone else? 8D]

...! [He gasps loudly, grinning] Wow! C-Can I meet them? I've never fathomed being able to meet prehistoric or rock types like those at all! Even if I am pretty new at my journey....

Sure, if you want. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have everyone out at once in a new place, but uh...

[He pulls out a Pokeball!]

Come on out, Kabutops!

[And there he is! He looks a bit confused as to where he is and peers up at Lucas rather curiously.]
