Um.

Thank you...whoever left me all these magazines. They're...really informative. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all of them, though. It seems like a shame to throw them away. I had no idea there was this whole...other side to Pokemon Breeding.

Does anyone have anything to get rid of greasepaint? Makeup remover or something? I think it's greasepaint. Water and soap is just smearing it around and smudging it all over my face.

I'm uh...sorry to bother you, but I was given these...magazines and. Well. There's one that's kind of old and I swear there's this girl that looks just like you in it.

It's really weird.

Busy is a bit of an understatement.

I guess you're right. I'll just keep trying to convince them that exploring Mt. Moon is more exciting than makeup.

[He's making a scrunched-up face because his mom probably does this to him a lot only with dirt instead of face paint.]

[identity profile] umbreon-blacky.livejournal.com 2010-04-04 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
[Blacky may or may not be trying to imagine having to do this to her own son. It seems like a motherly sort of thing to do. But she'll never know. OH CASCA. ALAS.]

Hm... I think I'd prefer a bit of lipstick to being swarmed by Zubats. [GRIN.] All right, that seems to be that. Your eyelids may still feel a little greasy; just be sure to scrub as much as you can next time you wash your face.

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2010-04-04 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
I like Zubat.

[He rubs his face and inspects his hand. Yay! No makeup!]

You said you got this from the theater wing?

[identity profile] umbreon-blacky.livejournal.com 2010-04-04 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
Then they must not have a taste for human blood. [Did she just waggle her fingers all creepy-like when she said that? Real mature, Blacky.]

Mhm, it hasn't seen a lot of use lately, so I figured nobody would miss it terribly for an hour. It's just a little more heavy-duty than something from the drug store.

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2010-04-04 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
[He looks a little weirded out for a second or two.]

Do you work in the theater department?

[identity profile] umbreon-blacky.livejournal.com 2010-04-04 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
Ah... I was in charge of it for many years, but that duty has been passed down to Madame Flurry now. BAW. Do you have an interest in that sort of thing~?

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2010-04-04 06:08 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I can't say I do. I was just curious, I guess.

[identity profile] umbreon-blacky.livejournal.com 2010-04-05 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
[WRONG ANSWER, BROCK. Blacky is srs disappoint. But she will just have to enlighten him later.]

Hmm~ speaking of curiosity... Do you still have this mysterious magazine?

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2010-04-05 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
[WELL GEE SORRY Brock is the kind of kid who likes to play in dirt not get dressed up and go to the theater.]

Uh, yeah. I'll get it.

[He scurries away and returns with said MYSTERY MAGAZINE, which he hands over to Blacky.]

[identity profile] umbreon-blacky.livejournal.com 2010-04-05 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
[~MYSTERIOUSLY~, Blacky knows just what part of the magazine it's in. But it's totally not her, no sir.]

She does look an awful lot like me. How eerie! [Fake surprise!] But... you thought she was pretty? [This is an unspoken if you knew she was me and thought she was pretty does this mean you find me pretty come on say it]

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2010-04-06 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
It's really weird, yeah. [He peers over her shoulder.]

Well, sure. I think every girl is pretty I think so.

[identity profile] umbreon-blacky.livejournal.com 2010-04-06 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
[MODESTY MODE: OBLITERATED.]

I can certainly see the appeal. But there's something in her eyes that shows intelligence, too... Hardly some vapid girl who would do this for a living - most likely just to help pay for education. It would have been more common back then than you might think.

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2010-04-06 05:34 am (UTC)(link)
[THIS IS TOTALLY WEIRD STUDYING A SKIN MAG WITH AN OLDER LADY COLLEAGUE.]

Hm. I never really thought about it like that.

[identity profile] umbreon-blacky.livejournal.com 2010-04-06 05:37 am (UTC)(link)
Now you've been enlightened!

[And with a dramatic flourish, she totally tries to hide the magazine so she can sneak it out and destroy the evidence later.]

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2010-04-06 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
Did you...want that, Miss Blacky?

[identity profile] umbreon-blacky.livejournal.com 2010-04-06 05:54 am (UTC)(link)
[BUSTED.]

Oh, this? Goodness. I forgot to put it down. It wouldn't be right of me to take something of yours. Unless you were planning to get rid of it anyway...

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2010-04-06 04:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, to be honest, I don't really know what to do with these.

[identity profile] umbreon-blacky.livejournal.com 2010-04-07 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps you could use them if you ever decided to expand on... human-Pokemon relations.

[She might be joking. MAYBE.]

[identity profile] bestsweater.livejournal.com 2010-04-07 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
[Brock says NOTHING just flushes like crazy which would probably be easier to see if it wasn't so *~*naturally tan*~*.]

...Right.
