[Brock has jacked the PA system. Well...more like persuaded Nancy to show him where it is and how to work it. He knows this is probably not allowed, but desperate times call for desperate measures, and there is a public in dire need of education. How is he supposed to get information to students and faculty who probably can't work their own computers?

The result is an intercom broadcast heard all over campus--in the classrooms, the dorms, the dining hall, through speakers on the main quad. Brock figures that it's the best and most all-encompassing method of relaying his stunning revelation, but covers all his bases just in case. He records his broadcast and then (with Nancy's help) cross-posts it to an entry in his journal, along with a text transcription, just in case anyone would rather read and type back.]

[Some time in the afternoon, the speakers crackle to life.]

--'s on? Oh, okay. Thanks, Nancy.

[Throat clearing!]

Um. ~~Attention Sumabura Gakuen~~ Hi. Hello, Smash Academy. This is, uh...This is Brock Harrison, I'm one of the gym leaders here, if you didn't know that, and, um...

Anyway, it has come to my attention that most of the students and faculty are now Pokemon and. Other things. I know you are probably all in various states of disorientation and confusion, so as someone who works with Pokemon, I thought it'd be a good idea to bring up a few things. Knowledge is power.

To be blunt, the breeding mechanisms of Pokemon are much different than those of many other species. In order to avoid unexpected...ah...accidents, I've posted a list of known egg groups and Pokemon in said egg groups on the bulletin board in the student union. I recommend everyone take a look at it and exercise caution and good judgment until whatever this is wears off.

If, in the event that you find a mysterious egg and do not know where it came from, please let me know immediately. Along those lines, if anyone has any general Pokemon-related questions, I'm available in TD-34 and I have a really big dry erase board and a Ouija board and lots of Scrabble tiles. For communication purposes.

[There is a long pause. He's mumbling something to Nancy in the background.]

I am also making...a lot of Poffins. A lot. They're in baskets outside of TD-34 if anyone would like them. My apologies to those of you who have become...not-Pokemon. I wish I could be more of a help. If there's anything I can do to make life easier, like open doors or do things that require thumbs, please don't hesitate to let me know however you can. That goes for everyone.

[Silver tried very hard to remain irritated. It was getting increasingly difficult. "Don't tell me... what to do..." he growled at him before slumping down, his needles becoming more like tufts of fur.]

"There you go," he said, moving his paw to scratch behind the fox's ear, and licking his face. Aw, Daddy gave you a kiss <3

[No, it's not the "no PDA" thing he'd bite you for. He LIKES it when there is no PDA... it's the suggestion that they are a couple and are lovely with each other.]

[That's pretty much what Brock is thinking at the moment, yeah.]

"Don't do that" he growled and lazily swatted at his father. Despite himself resistance against the petting was futile. The most he could do was to try and act as if he wasn't enjoying himself, quietly growling at him as he layed down and closed his eyes.

Oh yeah, you're not enjoying that at all, Silver. B)

Despite his son's 'attempts' to shoo him off, Giovanni kept petting behind his ears, occasionally nuzzling him with his nose. This was rather relaxing, actually.

[Ever so slowly Silver is trying to crawl away from you, so he can get up and shake the nice feelings off.]

[Annnd his father blocks his path with a paw. You're going nowhere, shrimpy. He keeps nuzzling and petting you. There might be a muttered 'I love you' somewhere in there too. Okay, there totally is.]

[Silver still tried to squirm. Emotionally? Physically? This affection was all very nice. Psychologically? He didn't want to enjoy it.]

[TOO BAD. He's just going to keep it up until you give in. <3]

[Silver wanted to just curl up in a ball and make it all go away. But that was impossible. "I said stop" he growled though it may have been too soft to hear.]

[Sorry squirt. He snuggles up closer to you]

"Why would you say that? [Lick] You've always liked your hair being played with..."

[Because I don't want to love you was the first thought that popped into his mind. He dismissed it however. As if he would tell his father something that sensitive.]

"I'm not a little kid anymore" it was meant to be a growl but came out as a mewing yawn. Curse this body.

[Giovanni, you may not realize it but you are unintentionally acting like a serious prick to your son. While he meant to bond with him, all those particular words did was run salt in a reopened wound.

At first all he did was tense and shake a little, then like a loaded spring he snapped and bit his father's paw that was wrapped around him.]

[Well. That hurt a little. Not a lot, but those tiny little teeth are like needles, shrimp. Giovanni winced, growling slightly without meaning too. Kid, are you asking for trouble? He will carry you off so quick...

But then he remembers something. Don't gt mad, get even. and so he does, by loving on you MORE.]

[Yes! The reaction he wanted! Pity that instead of enjoying his father's mild annoyance he decided in this moment of anger, pain, and general confusion that mild annoyance just wasn't good enough for him.
