17 [ACTION/TEXT]

[TD-34 is still a pile of rubble. Now that Brock is no longer going crazy, however, at least some effort has been made to clean up the place. He is still doing an awful lot of pouting in his undamaged bedroom.]

The Hands told me I have to clean up my apartment as much as I can before they send someone to rebuild the walls.

So...If anyone wants to help. Maybe. If it's not too much trouble, I would appreciate it. I don't have a lot of money but I could pay you in cake. Or cookies. Or...brownies. Or scones. Uh. I'll reimburse you in the baked good of your choice.

[So like three weeks ago, Brock picked out the perfect gift for Erika. Then his apartment got blown up and said perfect gift was lost forever in the rubble. He cried and searched long and hard for said perfect gift, but to no avail. Everything he touches is doomed.

Except for cake. He made Erika a cake and frosted it with icing flowers. It's totally girly. The cake accompanied by a bouquet of flowers and a DATE COUPON. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.]

Dem brownies It's the least I could do for a fellow gym leader. You really don't have to bother with me, but... hmm, this might be an embarrassing topic for me to bring up. I haven't tried a wide variety of poffins in my time, but yours were unforgettable. If you're making poffins, I'd like you to make some for my Pokemon. They will be the ones helping us out, and I think they would enjoy a reward.

Sure, I can do that for you. It's no trouble. What flavors do they like?

For the most part, they will enjoy anything sour or sweet. Throw some dry ones in there, too. Once again, I thank you. It's very much appreciated! We'll work hard in return.

Sour, sweet, and dry. Right.
