Um.
Thank you...whoever left me all these magazines. They're...really informative. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all of them, though. It seems like a shame to throw them away. I had no idea there was this whole...other side to Pokemon Breeding.
Does anyone have anything to get rid of greasepaint? Makeup remover or something? I think it's greasepaint. Water and soap is just smearing it around and smudging it all over my face.
------
I'm uh...sorry to bother you, but I was given these...magazines and. Well. There's one that's kind of old and I swear there's this girl that looks just like you in it.
It's really weird.

Play...mon. I think. I can go check.

Oh. Oh I get it lololol that is funny I meanIt sounds like you got off rather easy. I'll see if I can go find the makeup remover.[Private, TOTALLY hackable]
FUUUUUUUUUUThat won't be necessary. There are plenty of Umbreons in the world; I wouldn't be surprised if one took on a form surprisingly similar to mine. It is strange that they would choose to pose for one of those magazines.no subject
[Prriiiivato]
That's true. It's kind of a shame, really. She's very pretty.

He is in an apron and has horrible blue and black smudges all across his face.]
Hi, Miss Blacky.

Here you are. Would you like any help with that? I assume you don't remove makeup often...
no subject
Oh, uh, sure. You can come in if you want.
[WELCOME TO BROCK'S APARTMENT. There are books everywhere and there is baking stuff all over the kitchen and a Poffin maker on the table.]
I don't really remove makeup...ever.

Oh no? Surely you must have a sister - I've heard you do have a number of siblings... It would be a useful skill to have if she should ever go through the, ah, 'experimenting with style' stage. Hopefully whatever she gets into isn't this extreme...
[Oh. Right. Blacky has no idea where anything is so she's going to stand in the middle of the apartment holding the bottle and looking back at Brock expectantly.]
Do you have any cotton swabs? A paper towel might do otherwise...
no subject
I have. Um. Four sisters, actually. I'm the oldest of ten. They're not quite old enough for that yet, though.
[Brock scurries off to the kitchen to exchange his apron for a washcloth.]
Is this okay?
no subject
[Inspects the washcloth, then nods. And gets to work!]

I guess you're right. I'll just keep trying to convince them that exploring Mt. Moon is more exciting than makeup.
[He's making a scrunched-up face because his mom probably does this to him a lot only with dirt instead of face paint.]
no subject
Hm... I think I'd prefer a bit of lipstick to being swarmed by Zubats. [GRIN.] All right, that seems to be that. Your eyelids may still feel a little greasy; just be sure to scrub as much as you can next time you wash your face.

[He rubs his face and inspects his hand. Yay! No makeup!]
You said you got this from the theater wing?
no subject
Mhm, it hasn't seen a lot of use lately, so I figured nobody would miss it terribly for an hour. It's just a little more heavy-duty than something from the drug store.

Do you work in the theater department?
no subject
BAW.Do you have an interest in that sort of thing~?no subject

Hmm~ speaking of curiosity... Do you still have this mysterious magazine?
no subject
Uh, yeah. I'll get it.
[He scurries away and returns with said MYSTERY MAGAZINE, which he hands over to Blacky.]

She does look an awful lot like me. How eerie! [Fake surprise!] But... you thought she was pretty? [This is an unspoken if you knew she was me and thought she was pretty does this mean you find me pretty come on say it]
no subject
Well, sure.
I think every girl is prettyI think so.no subject
I can certainly see the appeal. But there's something in her eyes that shows intelligence, too... Hardly some vapid girl who would do this for a living - most likely just to help pay for education. It would have been more common back then than you might think.
no subject
Hm. I never really thought about it like that.
