Hi all,

It's been a while since I've written. Sorry about that.

Fall's really something here. Red, Misty and I took advantage of the last warm weekend and went camping up in the mountains--still got cold at night, though. It was fun, we had a good time. It's nice to just relax and not think about school for a few days. Between class and a part-time gig doing...secretarial work, I'm pretty busy.

Johto's new champion enrolled--she's a nice girl. Talented trainer. I guess I'd hear from you guys if anyone of that caliber came through the gym, huh?

Anyway, sorry I won't be around to take everyone out for Halloween this year. I'd try to fly out, but since it's a Sunday night I'd need to be back in time for class on Monday, so I don't think I could cut it. I'll come visit soon, though. You should send pictures--I've attached a few myself. My dorm, my classroom, the campus. As crazy as the school is, it's actually really nice.

I'm...dating. I know it seems weird to be telling you this in a letter, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to get back to Kanto, and I think I'd feel weirder not saying anything. I would probably be a little more nervous if not for the fact that you already know her. Erika, I mean.

Hope everyone's doing well, and that everything's running smoothly. I'll come visit soon and check up on the gym.

Does anyone have a needle and thread I could borrow? I popped a few buttons off the side of my cargo pants today and I can't find my kit. Maybe I left it at home.

What's everyone doing for Halloween? I haven't been at the school for one, so I guess I'm just curious as to how it's celebrated around here.

I dunno about anyone else, but I'm going trick-or-treating! The two things that make the universe go round are love and free candy.

I've got some superglue, but I don't have any sewing stuff, sorry. Any time I rip stuff, I send it back home to Mom. Cargo pants malfunctions aren't really something that I've ever needed to be prepared for.

Yeah, usually I take my brothers and sisters out, but I think on my own I'm a little old for it.

That's okay. I'm used to a lot of rips and tears, so that's why I keep a kit, but for some reason I can't find it. Super glue probably won't hold buttons, but thanks for the offer.

I'm probably not going to do much for Halloween. I used to tag along with my little brother dressed up in costumes every year before I left on my journey. But I came back from completing my Pokedex, I was more of like a guardian looking after him, haha.
