01 [ACTION]

[There is a giant, living boulder...thing on campus. It's snake-like in appearance and is just kind of milling about, sticking its giant rock nose into bushes, peering into second-story windows, leaving the campus lawn all torn up in its wake. Hey man, you can't be a massive stone-serpent and not leave a some kind of trail. It's around various places all day, and very clearly seems to be giving the place a once-over.

One might easily ignore the young man that accompanies this gargantuan creature (or is it the other way around?) if not for the fact that he is wearing an obnoxious shade of bright orange. Still, it might take you a few moments to notice him, given the sheer size of his rock-like companion. He carries a backpack, and a map which he refers to every so often.

What is most interesting about this duo, perhaps, is the fact that they seem to be actively conversing, albeit in different languages. Occasionally this mysterious arrival hitches a ride on his stony friend along their self-guided tour. It's obvious that they're evaluating the school with a sort of non-verbal running commentary, perhaps looking for a familiar face or two.

Yeah, it was fine. Pretty uneventful. Long, though. Takes a while without a flying type.

I'd imagine so... Kanto's rather far... I hope you both kept warm properly. It'd be no good for you to get here and then get sick.

Which berries was he fond of again? We have quite a few different ones growing in the green house, if he'd like one.

Oh, uh. Anything spicy. We haven't seen the greenhouse yet anyway.

He'd like the tamato berries we have then. But... ah... [She's looking over at Onix's path of utter destruction rather dubiously.] ... It might be best if he waits outside.

[Onix looks a little disappointed. But he certainly understands.]

[She's going to tentatively pat Onix in apology.] ... I'll bring you two.

[Onix seems very pleased with this.]

[She gives a small motion for the little plant pokemon to keep Onix company, then beckons for Broke to come hither follow her.]

The variety is amazing... The students put a lot of hard work into it. I was very impressed.

I will admit that they are going much better than I expected. I was not anticipating many students to be interested in botany in a school that boasts its fighting credentials... Though I suppose... that would explain why so many are looking forward to the pirahna plant lesson.

[She's pointing over the rest of the plant towards the plants in question. Chomp chomp, gobble gobble.]

[He is about to ask what a Pirhana Plant is but the question is answered when the thing snaps at him.]

[Erika looks PISSED displeased. She is marching right up to it and giving it a piece of her mind.]

You promised you were going to be good. I'm still holding you to that...!

[There is an exchange of chompy noises and Erika flicked it on the... nose. It was super effective!]

[Brock watches this whole exchange with varying degrees of bewilderment.]

It's okay. It's okay. [He holds out his hands.] All ten fingers, see!

[She takes them, carefully making sure that all ten fingers are all there herself. Phew.]

Oh good. ...They bit a Ponyta the first day of class, so I get a bit... Well, yes.

They did? Is it okay? Is it safe to even keep these things?

Yes, she's fine, thankfully. More skittish than actually harmed. I question their temperament, but we can only try to come to an agreement. It is their home after all... I cannot turn them away from it.

[Let's move away from the hand nibblers now.]
