01 [ACTION]

[There is a giant, living boulder...thing on campus. It's snake-like in appearance and is just kind of milling about, sticking its giant rock nose into bushes, peering into second-story windows, leaving the campus lawn all torn up in its wake. Hey man, you can't be a massive stone-serpent and not leave a some kind of trail. It's around various places all day, and very clearly seems to be giving the place a once-over.

One might easily ignore the young man that accompanies this gargantuan creature (or is it the other way around?) if not for the fact that he is wearing an obnoxious shade of bright orange. Still, it might take you a few moments to notice him, given the sheer size of his rock-like companion. He carries a backpack, and a map which he refers to every so often.

What is most interesting about this duo, perhaps, is the fact that they seem to be actively conversing, albeit in different languages. Occasionally this mysterious arrival hitches a ride on his stony friend along their self-guided tour. It's obvious that they're evaluating the school with a sort of non-verbal running commentary, perhaps looking for a familiar face or two.

It lets out a very excited growl, and makes a beeline towards Misty as if he is happy to see her.

[Luckily, Brock is observant and catches Blacky's waving out of the corner of his eye. In the next instant, he has clambered down his giant rock snake and landed hard on the ground.

He straightens up and adjusts his sweater.]

[Char is normally very much in favour of senseless destruction. But not when it is his naptime. He's off cutting class (AS USUAL) and doing a little basking near the fountain, his tail dangling off the not-full-of-water edge.

And then along comes an Onix that quite nearly just mows over the whole fountain. WTF, dude. Char lifts his head and lets out an extremely rude snarl. We're talking "Pokespeak for a staggeringly obscene remark about Onix's entire egg group" rude.]

[Onix is certainly not going to take that laying down. No sooner do the terrible horrible insults leave Char's snout than the rock type whips around and lets out a menacing roar.

Which of course sends its trainer running to the area. He was checking out a really interesting bush or something.]

[What on earth was that rumbling? Erika peered out the green house windows and... Oh goodness! An Onix was certainly the last thing Erika had expected to see. ...Was that someone on top of... She quickly set her spade down and hurried out the green house towards the very large pokemon, Bellossom close behind her.

While he was breaking the arms off of a Machamp, Bulba was fighting one of these things. And there's some sort of a guy on top of this one!! Oh noes!!!!

...A GIANT ROCK SNAKE. Lucas and his poggles slowly approach the poggle. They stop a few feet away and look up. Hey there's a man on that Onix. Lucas is daring, he calls out to him.]

[Yeah there's nothing like rounding a corner after hearing some unnatural rumbling all over campus and coming face to face with a giant rock snake. Samus' first instinct is naturally, to treat it just like any other giant alien rock snake (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwIKWrwRKPQ).

Unfortunately raising a pathetic little emergency pistol to it's head probably looks pretty pathetic.

*Cyrus is heading across the yard in search of some machine parts. As he walks, he goes over schematics in his head--have to get that desk up to snuff somehow, and he didn't have to build his desk at the base entirely from scratch like he would this. Lost in thought, it takes him a few moments to recognize where he's heard that familiar noise before. And a few moments more to recognize that there's a gigantic Onix about fifteen feet from him. And it's tearing up the yard. Time to throw everyone off the trail get in good with the rest of the staff.*

[Anshu was definitely drawn to the Pokémon. She hopped into one of the bushes the pair were fast approaching, recalling a movie she once saw where a man used a bush as a hiding place to watch people from afar. It wasn't as though she didn't want to be seen, but rather something she just did.]

A-An Onix? [A smile alighted Jasmine's face.] Is that... Brock??? [She motioned for Rusty to go towards them and began waving her arms.]

[There is a girl sitting down on a nearby snow hill in nothing but her normal school uniform, reading a book. There is an amazing amount of bird Pokémon around her, sitting in the trees and the ground. A few Spheals and Swinub too. The girl is petting one of them.

Seeing the Onyx passing by, she gives him a small wave.]

[Brock has to admit, there are not as many Pokemon here as he expected, or at least he hasn't found them yet. So when he happens upon Bob and her hoarde of wild Pokes, of course he's going to stop and check it out.]
